Execute your Code on FabEngine.com
There are two ways to execute any FabEngine script:
- Locally on your computer. This is for development and testing and requires the FabEngine SDK. When executing FabEngine Scripts locally on your development machine, no products will be produced and no cost incurred. Learn how to set up the FabEngine SDK on your machine.
- Deployed on FabEngine.com. Do this when you are ready to produce real products. This requires an account on FabEngine.com. Most people do their first “Deploy” by logging into the FabEngine.com website and uploading their code using a web browser. Doing this should be really straightforward, but here is a document with detailed instructions and answers to common questions. For advanced users the FabEngine API provides a way to deploy FabEngine Scripts without using the website (n00bs: please use the website).

To follow these instructions you need a FabEngine.com account. If you haven't done it yet, you should sign up for FabEngine.com here. It's free.
The following is a step-by-step tutorial to running your FabEngine script on FabEngine.com. To follow these steps, you need a valid FabEngine Script. If you don't have one yet, you can use the code from one of our tutorials.
Step 1: Log in
Step 2: Upload all source files
Most FabEngine Script require additional files such as STL files for 3D printing. You can either select multiple files at once, or upload a .zip archive. If you miss a file, your FabEngine Script won't excute. But no worries, you can add missing files later.
